Solar Thermal with Solar Electric panel

A PV-powered LaZer2 solar tracker

The solar PV panels have been added to the central part of the solar thermal system. This type of dual system is often used so that the solar PV provides electricity to drive the circulating pump and controls which means the system is totally independent of the mains.
