On a flat roof or open ground, a solar tracker can be an ideal way of maximising any investment in the use of a solar collector, or an array of collectors. The solar panels follow the sun ensuring the panels are always correctly aligned; this can be a slightly cheaper option to get the maximum from what can be a significant investment in solar panels. Also it can mean fewer collectors need to be used, which is especially useful in a limited space such as on top of a block of flats.
