In East Sussex, SolarUK have recently installed a large solar PV array as part of a project to make an older property ever more sustainable
The solar panels, as well as the family’s better awareness of its day-to-day electricity consumption, means that there is very little electricity being purchased from the grid. The electricity bill for the six month period in the second half of 2008 was only about £80.
